The Southwest Regional Maintenance Center, San Diego (SWRMC) Commercial Industrial Services (CIS) intends to issue a solicitation for scaffolding onboard U.S. Navy ships and vessels within a 50-mile radius of San Diego, CA which may include Oceanside, CA. The contractor shall provide labor, services, equipment, and materials for the on-load, assembly, certification, modification, disassembly, and offload of scaffolding materials onboard U.S. Navy ships to accomplish the work described above. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The offeror is responsible for the use of the latest revision of all references, specifications and NAVSEA Standard Items. The successful offeror will be required to provide all labor, services, equipment, and materials in accordance with the specification package. This will be a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity, Firm Fixed Price contract. The Government intends to contract for a 5 base year period. The applicable NAICS will be "238990" Business size: 13.5 (millions of dollars). The Government will not pay for any effort expended or any material provided in response to this announcement, nor will the Government return any data provided. Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) Commercial Industrial Services (CIS) is seeking small business concerns to provide Scaffolding Services onboard U.S. Navy Ships and other Government vessels within a 50-mile radius of San Diego, CA which may include Oceanside, CA. The contractor shall furnish all labor, services, equipment, and materials required to accomplish the work described above. Government furnished utilities may be available for the contractor's use at the contractor's expense. SWRMC is contemplating award of a multiple award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) firm fixed price contract for the requirement specified in the attached draft Statement of Work. The applicable NAICS code is 532490 -- Other Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing Interested vendors should submit a Capabilities Statement (n.ot to exceed five pages) that demonstrates their capability to perform the services described herein. The Capabilities Statement shall include: ?Company name ?Address ?Business size (small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), women-owned, HUBZone, veteran-owned, or service-disabled veteran-owned) [more than one category may be selected as applicable] ?Point of contact (POC) information for the interested firm ?Company's technical capabilities The Capabilities Statement should also identify, by contract number, past or current contracts and/or subcontracts that were awarded to respondent's firm, period of performance, contract type, contract amount, a description of the relevant corporate experience gained, and a point of contact for the customer/recipient of the work performed. The Government will evaluate each respondent's Capabilities Statement to determine if the respondent has the requisite experience and past performance to complete the requirements described herein.
