This Sources Sought Notice does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, or a Request for Quotations. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government to issue an order or otherwise pay for the information solicited, nor is it a guarantee of a forthcoming solicitation or contract. It is for market research purposes only. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. The Government will not pay for any effort expended or any material provided in response to this announcement, nor will the Government return any data provided. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, to include the Small Business Community: Small Business, Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB). The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsible contractors. Small business, Section 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, & EDWOSB businesses are highly encouraged to participate. Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) seeks information from business concerns that can procure/provide the attached Computer-Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) software salient characteristics. See Attachment 1_N5523619Q0096 Required Salient Characteristics. SWRMC is contemplating award of a single award firm fixed price purchase order for the requirement specified above. The applicable NAICS code is 511210 - Software Publishers. Interested vendors shall respond to this office in writing, via e-mail, providing their capability statement and completed Attachment 1_N5523619Q0096 Required Salient Characteristics document not later than (NLT) 26 May 2019 at 11:00 a.m. PST.
