Notice Type: Sources Sought Notice Solicitation Number: N5523622R0013 This is a sources sought announcement in accordance with FAR 15.201 and in anticipation of a future procurement. Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) is conducting market research to determine industry’s capability to provide graving dock keel block materials, repairs (same day installation), and removal of damaged blocks for a Naval Base San Diego (NBSD) graving dock. Build 83 each new docking blocks. Renew existing hardwood on 80 existing blocks. Dispose of 50 each expired blocks. Required delivery date is 5/20/2022. See Statement of Work (SOW), (Enclosure (1)). The contractor shall furnish ALL materials required in the SOW. SWRMC is especially interested in determining small business capability and interest. SWRMC is contemplating award of a firm fixed price contract for the requirement specified in the attached Product Description List. The applicable NAICS code is 237990 Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction, or NAICS code 321912 Cut Stock, Resawing Lumber, and Planing. What/Where to Submit: Interested companies should submit, on company letterhead, a notice of interest including the name, telephone number, mailing address, and e-mail address of one point of contact. The notice of interest should include a brief description of your company and your ability to provide all the OEM materials no later than 29 March 2022, 1400 (Pacific), as set forth in Enclosure (1), and answers to the following specific questions. Please limit your response to no more than 5 pages. Is your company a small or large business as defined by the Small Business Administration (SBA) under NAICS codes 237990 or 321912? If small business please specify (small, 8(a), women-owned, HUBZone, veteran-owned, or service-disabled veteran-owned) [more than one category may be selected as applicable] Information provided shall be treated as Business Sensitive or Confidential to the responder, exempt from public release under the Freedom of Information Act. All information shall be provided free of charge to the Government. SWRMC may request further information regarding the capabilities of respondents to meet the requirements set forth in the announcement. This sources sought announcement is released in accordance with FAR 15.201. This sources sought announcement is not a request for proposal. The purpose of this sources sought announcement is to gather information from the market place. Information provided in response to this sources sought announcement will not be considered an offer by the responding contractor and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
