The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited - all responses will be treated as information only and it is not to be construed in any way as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Virginia is seeking information on qualified and experienced sources to provide welding and fabrication services at the North Carolina Port Authority for CNRNDW. The period of performance for this anticipated contract is from 4 May 2020 to 1 September 2020. The Government plans to procure these services as a Commercial Item as defined in FAR 2.101. Please see attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) and pictures for all required work. Responses shall be emailed to the Point of Contact (POC) listed in this notice by 3 March 2020. Again, this is not a request for a proposal. Respondents will not be notified of the results and the Government is not required to answer any questions submitted in regards to this sources sought notice.
