The government intends to award a sole-source contract to Fairbanks Morse Defense for a Main Propulsion Diesel Engine (MPDE) Fuel Oil Leak Off Box under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and will be posted to SAM.gov and/or PIEE; paper copies will not be available. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability and submit quotes, but this notice is not a request for competitive quotes. The government retains sole discretion on whether to compete the proposed contract based on responses.
