USS BATAAN LHD 5 Title: Over Haul Kit 1.0. INTRODUCTION. Background and Objective. This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the requirements for the supply and delivery of the parts listed in 2.1 be delivered to DLA Distribution Norfolk RMC PROJ, Bunker Hill Towaway Bldg. X136, and Norfolk, VA 23511. 2.0. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS 2.1. The Contractor shall supply and deliver the material listed in 2.1.1 complying with the specifications IAW SOW: SOW Para NO.-2.1.1 QTY- 9EA Name of Part- Overhaul Kit Drawing #- S6435-CY-MMA-10, Change C Piece #- D50959-VTN-05-BTM3 2.2 All material to be in accordance with Reference 2.2 of spec item 529-11-003. 2.3 Required Date of Delivery: 08/14/2020 3.0. DELIVERY / ACCEPTANCE 3.1. Delivery shall be made to the following address: DLA Distribution Norfolk RMC PROJ Bunker Hill Towaway Bldg. X136 Norfolk, VA 23511 M/F: Magalene McKelvey 3.2. Shipping terms shall be FOB Destination. The product shall be accepted and inspected at FOB Destination. Shipping cost shall be included in the quote. 4.0. REQUIREMENTS: 5.1 Remove each relief valve listed in 1.3 and located in 1.2 in accordance with 2.2, using 2.3 for guidance. 5.1.1 Restore each piping flange mating surface exposed by disassembly of piping system. Repair by removing each high spot, burr, abrasion, and foreign matter, where removal can be accomplished by a hand tool. Maintain phonographic finish on each flange that has it. 5.2 Accomplish the requirements of 009-52 of 2.1 for each relief valve listed in 1.3, using 2.2 and 2.3 for guidance. Fitting and Installing each new part listed in 5.1. 5.2.1 Ensure seat tightness is 20 PSIG. 5.2.2 Ensure the lifting pressure is 17 PSIG. 5.2.3 Ensure test medium is clean fresh water. 5.3 Install each relief valve to its original location, using 2.2 and 2.3 for guidance. 5.3.1 Install each new gasket conforming to 2.4, including Category and Group D-1 and D-2. (V)(G) "OPERATIONAL TEST" 5.4 Accomplish an operational test of each valve at normal operating conditions in accordance with 2.3. 5.4.1 Test each relief valve for ease of operation by cycling lifting lever through 3 complete cycles. Allowable sticking, or leaking: None. 5.5 Accomplish the requirements of 009-32 of 2.1 for each new and disturbed surface. 6.
