This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items and services prepared in accordance with the information in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2020-01 and DFARS Change Notice 20191001. The Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing the parts that are identified in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Site Visit (Highly Recommended) A site visit will be held prior to receipt of offers to allow all perspective contractors to view and inspect the boat that requires these storage cabinets at: Site Visit Address: CEP-160 Adm. Taussig Blvd. Building on the water front by Pier 6 Contractors with DBIDS access; parking address: Building Z 300 9400 Decatur Ave. Norfolk, VA 23511 In order to attend this site visit, contractors shall convene at the above address no later than 9:00 a.m. EST on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. Attendees should allow extra time to arrive due to delays in passing through security. Due to base security requirements, failure to make a reservation may prohibit a contractor from attending site surveys. Contractors are limited to two (2) representatives for the site survey.
