This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought for information and planning purposes to identify qualified and experienced sources for an anticipated Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award to provide Ship's Service Turbine Generator (SSTG) repair in support of the USS Bataan (LHD-5). The period of performance for the anticipated contract is 8 April 2019 - 5 July 2019. This sources sought notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse the contractor for any cost associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) of Norfolk, Virginia is seeking to identify qualified and experienced sources to provide SSTG repair services and furnish the required materials in accordance with the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). The appropriate NAICS code is 336611, with a small business standard of 1250 employees. Reponses to this Sources Sought should reference N5005419T0018 and shall include the following information in this format: 1. Company name, address, point of contact name, phone number, fax number and email address. 2. Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) Code. 3. Business Size - Large Business, Small Business, Small Disadvantage, 8(a), Hubzone, Woman-owned and/or Veteran-owned. Only interested parties who intend to submit a quote should submit a written expression of interest to DesireƩ Logan at desiree.logan@navy.mil by 1:00 PM EST on 19 March 2019.
