The Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) intends to issue solicitation N5005419R0024 for an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity Multiple Award Contract (IDIQ-MAC) to furnish the necessary management, technical support, labor, material support, equipment, and facilities to accomplish repair of Alternating Current/Direct-Current Motors (AC/DC) and Motor Generator (MG) Sets. The repair will include required support to disconnect (electrically and mechanically), inspect and report, repair or refurbish, rewind, clean and re-assemble, shop test, reinstall, reconnect, and shipboard test AC/DC Motors and MG Sets. The work to be furnished will be accomplished primarily on U.S. Navy vessels and other military type vessels located in a 50-mile radius of Naval Station Norfolk, VA, but may be accomplished worldwide. The applicable NAICS code is 336611 (Ship Building and Repair) with a small business size standard of 1,250 employees. In addition, this procurement will utilize the policies and procedures of FAR Part 15 “Contracting by Negotiation.” This is a follow-on procurement. The current contract number is N50054-15-D-1509. A Sources Sought Notice was posted on FEDBIZOPPS on 25 June 2019 referencing solicitation number N5005419R0024. Based on the result of the Source Sought Notice and other market research conducted, the Government has determined that this requirement will be a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside.
