Background: Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) requires the performance of enhanced screening of all people entering the work environment that could encounter PSNS & IMF employees. All individuals entering the Controlled Industrial Area and Pier Delta (Pier-D) are required to undergo temperature screenings. This is an additional measure required by the Department of Defense to minimize the spread of COVID-19 in the shipyard work areas. An employee could have a temperature and not realize it. Temperatures are often a sign of the body fighting off infection. Service Description: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Enhance Screening at Turnstile Access Points as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract.
