THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT / REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. The Naval Consolidated Brig Charleston is seeking sources for the purchase of two Full Body Security Scanners. The scanners will be used to provide technological advantage in reducing contraband from entering the facility by prisoners during in processing, or any time returningfrom outside of the security perimeter. The Government is seeking body scanners Brand Name or Equal to the Soter RS. To be considered an equal the scanner must meet thefollowing salient characteristics: ? Be a 360-degree truly open frame design without a portal frame, archway or cabinet, to ensure security inspectors’ line of sight is not compromised ? Authentication and identification Monitor w NFC-reader and barcode scanner ? Must be able to detect ALL types of contrabands (drugs, weapons, explosives) and allforeign objects, such as phones ? Offer the ability to offer a PREA Compliant Operating Program. ? Only emit radiation during the scanning process, and at no other time. ? Meet Department of Health Regulations. ? Always keep security inspectors free of radiation ? Functional radiation safety controls, to ensure radiation levels for individuals, meet the Department of Health regulated limit standard. ? Minimum 2 Emergency stops for dynamic situations ? Remote diagnostic capability. ? Data Reporting, Storage and Import & Export capability. SOFTWARE & NETWORK DATA ? Image Display: Black & white (65K Greyscale levels) ? Image enhancements: Sharpen, emboss, sepia, 3D, negative, color filters ? Display: 24", 27" or 33" color multi-touch screen ? Software: Controller, viewer, application (Win 10 IoT) ? Data storage: Local SQL DB ? Data storage: Central Server SQL DB ? Data Exchange: Data synchronizer adjustable to network speed ?
