Updated June 2nd: Amended solicitation 0001, attachment J-2 Work Item Package (Errata One & Addendum One), and attachment J-5 GFPN4523A22R0550_2 posted ____________________________ Prospective prime offerors within area of consideration may request references called out in attachment J-1 KIDD 2A2 Work Package, from Alex Stutzman at alexander.stutzman@navy.mil ------------------------------------------------ The Regional Maintenance Center at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) detachment Everett Washington, intends to award a stand-alone firm-fixed price contract to accomplish maintenance, modernization, and repair of the USS KIDD through the completion of the work items included in attachment J-1. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small businesses that fall within the 1,250 size standard, under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 336611 (Non-Nuclear Ship Repair West), in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 19.502-2. The contractor shall furnish the necessary management, material support services, labor, supplies, and equipment deemed necessary to perform this contract at PSNS & IMF, detachment Everett Washington. The period of performance is scheduled to be August 8th 2022 to September 9th 2022. Prospective offerors must have previously executed either a Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR), or possess the necessary qualifications to perform the work and agree to execute such an agreement before award of the contract. The government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price, stand alone contract in July 2022 to the responsible contractor on a lowest price technically accetpable basis in accordance with but not limited to FAR 15.101-2. All offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) to recieve award of Government contracts. Offerors are advised also that SAM representations and certifications can be completed electronically via the System for Award Management website at https://sam.gov.
