The Navy is conducting market research to identify companies capable of performing maintenance, repair, and preservation work on one Floating Crane (YD-248). The work will be performed at the contractor's facility, which must be located in the Puget Sound, WA region, defined as the West Coast from Olympia, WA to Bellingham, WA. The scope includes docking, inspections, hull steel repairs, blasting and painting, tank cleaning, and various structural and system repairs. The estimated period of performance is May 2027 through September 2027.
