PSNS & IMF intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for maintenance, repair, and preservation of YT-811, a 90-ft steel-hull vessel with a 16-ft draft and 494 L-ton full displacement. The contractor’s repair facility must accommodate the vessel and be located in the Puget Sound, WA region, defined as the continental U.S. West Coast from Olympia, WA north to Bellingham, WA. The government will transport the vessel to the contractor facility; work includes docking and cleaning, zinc anode replacement, blasting and preservation of hull/freeboard/decks, UT/VT inspections, valve and expansion-joint repairs, tank testing and preservation, lighting repairs, placard replacement, hydraulic hose replacement, winch control piping modification, and mast hydraulic ram overhaul, followed by undocking and return coordination. The amended package includes a revised Statement of Work, price worksheet, drawings/references, an RFC questions/answers sheet, and added clauses. The vessel will be ready for pickup on or after 2 March 2027; competition is full and open, and offerors must be registered in SAM.
