Update 06/03/2024 - The solicitation has been reopened and the proposal due date has been extended to Friday, 07 June 2024. Please see the uploaded Solicitation Amendment 1 that revises applicable due dates and anticipated ordering period dates. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation (attached); proposals are being requested and a separate post for the written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N4523A24R0808, issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-03 effective 23 Feb 2024. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 488510 and the business size standard is $20 million. This NAICS is for Freight Transportation Arrangement. The Federal Supply Code is V115. The Government has classified this procurement as a total set-aside for Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Businesses (EDWOSB). The Regional Maintenance Center at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF), Bremerton, Washington intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract (MAC) for commercial services in support of submarine escort vessel support. Expertise and experience required for the performance of this contract for submarine escort vessel support are found in the Performance Work Statement included in the Request for Proposal. The anticipated ordering period is five years between June 2024 and June 2029. All offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) to receive award of Government contracts. Offerors are also advised that SAM representations and certifications can be completed electronically via the System for Award Management website at https://www.sam.gov.
