The Government intends to n... This requirement is for a firm fixed price contract for renewal of Sole Source SmartSketch Licenses in accordance with Attachments. The License period is 4/1/23 to 3/31/24. The Government intends to negotiate and award the resultant contract on a SOLE SOURCE basis to Intergraph Corporation in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). (See the attached Justification for Sole Source) The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR part 13. This requirement incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2023-01 (Effective 12/30/2022) and DFARS Change 1/31/2023 (Effective January 31, 2023). It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at the following addresses: FAR - http://www.acquisition.gov DFARS - https://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dars/dfarspgi/current/index.html Under the authority of USC 2304(c)(1) pursuant to FAR 6.202-1(a)(2), the product or services needed by the agency are available from only one responsible source or only from a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of property or services will satisfy the needs of the agency. A determination not to compete this proposed contract is based on market research and is solely within the discretion of the government. As evidenced in the sole source justification provided by the requiring activity there is only one contractor that has the specific qualifications that meet the peculiar requirements of this contract. The NAICS code is 541519 with a small business standard of 41.5 (millions of dollars). Even though the intent is for a sole source contract, all responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. Quotations are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement through email submission to Steven Carlberg (steven.w.carlberg.civ@us.navy.mil) no later than 01:00 PM ET, February 24th 2023. If no responses are received by the above referenced date/time a sole source contract will be awarded to HEXAGON.
