The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 400), hereby provides notice for a request for quote for N4523A23Q1336. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 15.101-2 lowest price technically acceptable source selection process. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) has been determined to be 562991 - Septic Tank and Related Services. This U.S. industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in (1) pumping (i.e., cleaning) septic tanks and cesspools and/or (2) renting and/or servicing portable toilets with a large business size standard of $9,000,000.00. The Product Service Code for this acquisition is W085 Lease or Rental of Equipment- Toiletries. Puget Sound Naval Shipyard requires eight (8 ea.) portable chemical toilet units with three times weekly servicing in support of project availability at Naval Base Point Loma. The portable chemical toilets will be positioned in the weather on the pier to provide restroom facilities for project personnel. The contract shall also include delivery, setup, servicing, and retrieval. Throughout this specification, the portable chemical toilets, will be referred to as “PCTs”. PSNS and IMF Contracting Office (Code 400) will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this request for quote. Only written responses will be considered. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award. All documents submitted will not be returned. All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed in the attached RFQ to Purchasing Agent, Patrick Scott by email at patrick.j.scott2@navy.mil and Contracting Officer, Brian Fergus at james.b.fergus2.civ@us.navy.mil. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements. Vendor shall complete the pricing structure, section of the request for quote in its entirety and return with any other documentation, attachments or data as required by this solicitation. Review and fill out all attachments as required.
