This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Trident Refit Facility, Bangor (TRFB) in Silverdale, Washington, has a requirement for the preventative maintenance servicing and as needed repair services on (5) Kardex & (5) Space Saver Vertical Storage Systems. Each storage system has a computerized lift/extractor to operate the cabinets, with storage shelves/containers. An operator can store/retrieve an item via a push button controller, using a microprocessor controller. Containers/shelves (that hold parts) deliver parts to an operator comfortably, at an optimum ergonomic height. A full description of all requirements associated with this contract action are provided in a detailed Performance Work Statement (Attachment 2). The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial contract, with a base plus (4) option years. PSNS&IMF intends to utilize this non-personal service contract to obtain maintenance services.
