The OEM is the only source with proprietary design drawings, specifications, components and expertise required to perform the necessary maintenance on the above referenced Leslie Valves, Model PTLHNS-2. Moreover, the OEM is the NAVSEA authorized provider for this system for aircraft carriers. The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF) in support of a CVN 68 class aircraft carrier requires Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to provide services to repair/overhaul these valves. Again, it is the intent of the Government to sole-source this requirement. Nevertheless, responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which may be considered by the agency to Brenda Lancaster, the PSNS&IMF Small Business Advisor to C400_SB_Office.fct@navy.mil..
