The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 440) is issuing this sources sought. The sources sought is being issued as a means of conducting market research to identify industrial capabilities that might exist in order to support an upcoming requirement for a Bridge Crane Procurement and Installation contract. For additional information regarding the technical specifications, please refer to the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Based on the responses to this sources sought, this requirement may be set-aside for small business (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition (unrestricted), the government intent at this time is for a single award. All small business set-aside categories will be considered. The crane will replace an existing crane. The crane shall be installed in Building 431 Center High Bay at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) in Bremerton Washington. The crane shall be built to the design drawings of a registered Professional Engineer. The crane shall be designed, fabricated, assembled, shop tested, delivered, installed, inspected, field tested, and made ready for use per this specification.
