It is titled "Updated Attachment J-7 BAVR Instructions." ----------- The Regional Maintenance Center at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF), Bremerton, Washington intends to award a stand-along Firm-Fixed-Price contract to accomplish maintenance, repair, and preservation of the Yard Craft Barge 1591 (YC-1591) and Yard Craft Barge 1571 (YC-1571). YC-1591 has the following specifications: Built by: Orange Shipbuilding Co. INC Length: 110 FT Draft: 8 FT Width: 32 FT - 0 IN Light Displacement: 100 Tons Age: 33 Years Hull Type: Steel The contractor's facility must possess the capability of accomodating the YC-1591 with the dimensions as stated above. Coordinate with the Contracting Officer, via the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to deliver the vessel to the Contractor's facility. Upon docking vessel, was and clean vessel. Replace Zincs. Blast and Preserve Hull / Freeboard, Main Deck, and Tanks. UT Hull / Freeboard and Main Deck. Visual Inspection of Hull / Freeboard, Main Deck, and Tanks. Replace hardware for tanks covers. Replace covers for tanks. Air test of tanks. Undock the vessel. Arrange and coordinate the delivery of the vessel back to the Government with the Contracting Officer via the COR. YC-1571 has the following specifications: Pointer-Williamette CO., Inc. Length: 110 FT Draft: 8 FT Width: 34 FT - 0 IN Full Displacement: 590 L Tons Age: 73 Years Light Load: 160 L Tons Hull Type: Steel Coordinate with the Contracting Offiver, via the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to deliver the vessel to the Contractor's facility. Dock, wash, and clean the exterior surfaces of the vessel upon docking. Blast and preserve Three tanks. Visual inspect three tanks. Undock the vessel. Arrange and coordinate the deliver of the vessel back to the Government with the Contracting Officer via the COR. The Period of Performance is scheduled to be: 17 March 2020 to 27 May 2020. All offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) to receive award of Government contracts. Offerors are advised also that SAM representations and certifications can be completed electronically via the System for Award Management website at https://www.sam.gov. The Government intends to post a request for proposals in December 2019 and anticipates award of the Firm-Fixed Price, stand-alone contract in February 2020 to the responsible contractor on a lowest price, technically acceptable basis in accordance with but not limited to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.101-2.
