Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, 1400 Farragut Avenue intends to solicit for a multiple award, firm fixed-price supply type contract for Temporary Lead Shielding’s in support of PSNS Code 2310 NEPD Reactor Engineering Division. This requirement is for fabrication of temporary lead shielding from certified detrimental commercial materials and specifications to produce various shapes per PSNS Code 2310 NEPD Reactor Engineering Division DWG 2301-3537 Rev-1. Temporary lead shielding are various size and shaped flexible, covered, lead wool/sheet, used in the reactor compartment to reduce radiation levels and minimized maintenance personnel exposure to ionizing radiation. The primary purpose of this procurement action is to issue a Multiple Award Contract (MAC) for Manufacturers (Vendors) to fabricate and provide the 1st article (Qty of 2 for each shape per DWG 2301-3537 Rev -1) and establish a Qualified Manufacturer List (QML) for the Temporary Lead Shielding. This requirement is intended to be negotiated on an unrestricted basis as a Commercial item procurement in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13 resulting in a multiple award of a Firm-Fixed Price, Supply type contract with fob destination to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility.
