COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Coldspray – N4523A20Q1302 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items,” as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; “quotations” are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is N4523A20Q1302 and is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ) using FAR part 13 procedures. This RFQ is closing 06 January 2020 at 09:00AM; late Quotes may not be accepted. Responses to this RFQ with Quotes are to be sent electronically via email to Mr. Scott Kearsley (Scott.kearsley@navy.mil). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-01. The requirement shall be pursed using full and open competition. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811310, with a Product Service Code (PSC) of J20. The small business size standard of $8,000,000.00. The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 440) has a requirement for the development of a cold spray procedure for MCW throttling valve tailpiece. All interested companies shall provide quotation(s) for the following: Line Item CLIN 0001 Description The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the development of a cold spray procedure for the cold spray repair of the MCW throttling valve tailpiece as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract.
