PSNS&IMF has a need for Forklift Operator Services. The attached early draft performance work statement provides a breakout of the various functions of work contemplated a potential task under this contract. It is anticipated the contract performance period will have a base period with four one-year options. The anticipated start date of this requirement is June 2019. Currently the Government plans to solicit this requirement as a Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code proposed for the requirement is 488320, with a Small Business Size Standard of $38.5 million. The Government requests interested parties submit a response which includes a brief description of the company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e. 8(a), Historically underutilized Business Zone, Service Disable Veteran Owned, Small Business, etc.), anticipated teaming arrangements, and a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers. Any responses involving teaming arrangements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. The Government will use this information to determine commercial sources for the requirement. Interested firms are requested to provide a response to the sources sought no later than 24 January 2019 at 10:00 A.M. PST. The sources sought is being issued as a means of conducting market research to identify capabilities that might exist in order to support the upcoming requirement.
