The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF) Contracting Office (Code 440) is issuing this pre-solicitation notice. PSNS has a requirement for a non-personnel services contract to provide Trident Refit Facility (TRF) Waterjet Waste Removal Services. This will be a firm fixed price commerical service contract that is one (1) base year plus four (4) option years. Waterjet cutting machines are used to cut various metals and other material using high pressure water mixed with abrasives. During the cutting process the majority of the abrasive material and waste is evacuated from the systems main tank to storage hoppers which require periodic clean outs. The contractor shall provide services to Waterjet machines for periodic removal, disposal, and transportation of (3ea) Waterjet cutting systems (Shops 11A, 31A, 51R), expended waste abrasive hoppers, and the main tank. The disposal of waste shall be in accordance with all state regulations for TRF Bangor shops 11A, 31A and 51R. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811310.
