Synopsis N4523A19R0552 The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF) Contracting Office (Code 400) is issuing this pre-solicitation notice of a proposed contract action. This requirement is intended to be a firm fixed price, multiple award, five-year IDIQ. US Navy Submarines periodically require cleaning of the ships ventilation systems during planned maintenance periods. Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS&IMF) management of planned overhaul and maintenance requirements requires the work to be performed by specialized skilled personnel having knowledge, expertise, and specialized equipment to efficiently accomplish work on ships systems. PSNS&IMF does not maintain this capability. A complete RFP package will be available on the government wide point-of-entry (https://fbo.gov) on or around 14 May 2019, and to close on or around 14 June 2019. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 336611 with a size standard of 1250 (# of employees). Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will not issue a hard copy of the solicitation. This requirement is intended to be a small business set aside. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Please direct all questions regarding this requirement via e-mail to Kjendal Hicks at kjendal.hicks@navy.mil .
