Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; "quotations" are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is N4523A19Q1307 and is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ) using FAR part 13 procedures. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-02. The requirement shall be pursed using full and open competition. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811310, with a Product Service Code (PSC) of J20. The small business size standard of $7,500,000.00. The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 440) has a requirement for the development of a cold spray procedure for valve tailpieces and bodies. All interested companies shall provide quotation(s) for the following: Line Item Description Quantity Unit of Issue Unit Price Total Price CLIN 0001 Develop Cold Spray Procedure and completed Cold Spray Process on Valve Tailpiece Mockup and Valve Body Mockup. Use Cold Spray process on 3 Valve Tailpieces and 3 Valve Bodies. 1 Job Services Delivery is FOB Destination, Navy Base Kitsap, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. The Estimated Period of Performance as follow: August 2019 - February 2020 Task 0: Quality Control Program and Post Award Conference within 5 days of contract Award. Task 1: Develop Cold Spray Procedure of Valve Tailpiece Mock up and Valve Body Mockup. Completed on or before Sept 30th 2019 Task 2: Cold Spray Procedure on 1 set of valve body and valve tailpiece. Completed on or before November 30th 2019 Task 3: Cold Spray Procedure on 1 set of valve body and valve tailpiece.
