This potential contract action is intended to be a commercial firm-fixed-priced service contract using sole source simplified acquisition threshold procedures. This requirement is to obtain a non-personal services for repair and upgrade of CS-5000-10-RAL Cable Spooler Assembly. Repair/rebuild and upgrade of the Host Ship PPHS Portable Cable Transfer Unit (PCTU) Cable Spooler in accordance with approved design changes and maintenance actions identified in the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). CS-5000-10-RAL Cable Spooler assembly is uniquely designed for host Ship allowing power, heightened capabilities and high end performance capability. Due to copyright laws and proprietary data, no any other company is to appropriately work on this type of cable spooler except Okeanus Science and Technology.
