Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Contracting Department intends to procure Adhesive.This will be solicited on a sole source basis to Vimasco, per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit proposals prior to the offer due date, which will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This requirement will be procured using procedures for acquisition of commercial services under FAR Part/Subpart 12 and 13.5. It is anticipated that a commercial, Firm Fixed-price contract, and will be awarded on a sole source basis to Vimasco Corp, Nitro, West Virginia 25143-0516, CAGE Code 14947. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by NAVSEA. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to http://www.sam.gov. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments.
