The sources sought is being issued as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources that might exist in order to support a vertically bundled firm-fixed priced contract for repair, maintenance, and modernization services for the Selected Restricted Availabilities (SRAs) for the USS GRIDLEY (DDG 101) and USS SAMPSON (DDG 102). For additional information regarding the technical specifications, please refer to the attached DRAFT Section C’s, and the attached Possible Work Items. Project Objectives PSNS&IMF seeks to ascertain feasibility and industry interest in accomplishing Selected Restricted Availability (SRA) of non?nuclear surface ships including DDG which may encompass complex scheduled modernization, and repair requirements in the following most common critical systems: This list is not all inclusive, and subject to change prior of RFP, if a RFP is issued: Main Reduction Gear (MRG), CHT Systems, Main Reduction Gear (MRG) Lube Oil System, GTM Fuel Oil System, MRG Coupling / Clutches, Gas Turbine Generator (GTG) Fuel Oil System, Structural Repairs, Air Conditioning Systems, Steering Systems, Tank Repairs, Tank Preservation, Flight Deck Non?Skid. Period of Performance The Availability for the USS GRIDLEY is 19 December 2022 to 01 July 2023, and the Availability for the USS SAMPSON is 12 December 2022 to 30 May 2023. Site Location The USS GRIDLEY and USS SAMPSON are to be located at Everett, Washington.
