SCOPE OF WORK A. BACKGROUND The Naval Medical Research Unit No. 6 has six (06) operatives Cryogenic Tanks. Inside of this freezers our command keeps thousands of valuable samples stored dry from different studies conducted by our laboratories. B. OBJECTIVES To secure a four months’ supply of Liquid Nitrogen in order to meet our Command need to keep our six cryogenic tanks operative: the requirement will be for 4 tanks (154m3 by tank) per delivery as shown in the schedule below, which will result in 04 full portable cylinders delivered and 04 empty units collected on a weekly basis. NAMRU-6 Liquid Nitrogen delivery and quantity schedule as shown in attached document. Delivery Terms Four tank Weekly Deliveries. The vendor will deliver the product within our compound –at the Receiving Area-, at the specific date and time. The vendor is required to notify the Purchase Agent or the Contracting Officer by phone and/or by email 24 hours before the delivery day. The vendor is also required to notify the Purchase Agent or the Contracting Officer by phone and/or by email if any delivery will be delayed at least 1 hour before the delivery time.
