The Naval Medical Research Unit Six Lima is searching for sources to provide janitorial services to support the Administration Department at Naval Medical research Unit Six (NAMRU6) in Madre de Dios (Amazon region), and Lima in Peru. The requirement consists of recruitment, training and placing two (2) janitors: one for Lima and one for Madre de Dios. Contractor will provide support on a temporary basis. The contractor shall furnish all managerial, administrative, direct labor personnel and uniform that are necessary to accomplish all work required. Contractor employees shall be on site only for performance of contractual duties and not for other business purposes. Performance requirements for required work are described below. The Contractor shall perform janitorial services in all designated spaces including, but not limited to halls, offices, laboratories, restrooms, work areas, entrance ways, lobbies, storage areas, and stairways. Contractor shall schedule routine cleaning requirements to ensure that these are done in the order and time frame that are most efficient and have the least impact on normal operations. They are to be performed on a daily basis. Contractor shall schedule periodic cleaning requirements so that it causes minimal disruption to the normal Operation of the facility This Presolicitation is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exist for the requirement.Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that include management and technical data and cost information, in sufficient details and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to provide the required products. The capability statement shall not exceed 5 pages (8.5 x 11 inch) using a font size not smaller than 10 points. All capability statements received by the due date will be considered by the Government. A request for documentation, additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Capability statements are due by 08:00 am local time, May 20, 2019.
