This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to notify potential offerors that Naval Facilities Engineering Command Northwest, (NAVFAC NW), located in Silverdale Washington, intends to solicit for the provision of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) services for the various Naval Base Kitsap installations within the Navy Region Northwest, including Bangor, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard/Bremerton, Keyport, Indian Island, Jackson Park Hospital, and Manchester. The services to be performed include the disposal of approximately 11,500 tons per year of municipal waste. The contract type will be an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period will consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and 4 one-year option periods for renewal, at the discretion of the government. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) Code is 562111 – Solid Waste Collection, (Size Standard of $47 million). Required services must be provided by the Contractor in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), which will be available at the time of solicitation. The solicitation will be made available on or about November 08, 2024, and will be distributed solely through the website at www.sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation and amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. The site provides downloading instructions.
