The notice does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes and to determine whether to set aside the requirement for small business for commercial interpreter services. The notice does not commit the Government to issue any type of solicitation or award an ultimate contract. It does not restrict the Government from a particular acquisition approach. This is not a solicitation announcement for quotations and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a bid package or solicitation because there is no bid package or solicitation available. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned. 1. Description This sources sought is for interpreter services for reasonable accommodation located at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island Oak Harbor Washington with a period of performance not to exceed 24 months. The requirement includes in person interpretation services and virtual interpretation services. The resultant contract for this acquisition, if any, will be a single award contract with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) line item(s). 2. Requested Information: Interested parties should respond no later than July 10, 2025, 2:00 p.m. PDT. Interested vendors shall provide responses on the attached survey. Responses from interested parties shall include the following information: Company name and address GSA contract number (if applicable) UEI and Cage Code Point of contact with corresponding phone number and e-mail address Small Business Designation(s) Capability statement Capabilities Statement that: Describe experience on interpreting spoken English into signed English and American Sign Language (ASL), and interpreting ASL and signed English back into spoken English Describe how company will provide interpreter services Describe how company will acquire adequate interpreters with highly relevant academic and pragmatic expertise who can provide interpretation services for hearing impaired employees Paraphrasing of this notice will not be considered sufficient to demonstrate the capabilities of an interested parties 3. Questions Questions regarding this announcement shall be submitted to the primary point of contact on the sources sought with a copy ot the alternate point of contact. Verbal questions will not be considered. Interested parties are encouraged to provide feedback on the requirements of the Capabilities Statement to include identifying any areas that seem vague, and/or ask questions about the requirements.
