Task Order M4248521F0019, awarded to Gartner, Inc. and effective 01 Sept 2021, was for the purchase of three (3) types of Executive Program Leadership Team Licenses (EPLT) offered under BPA N6600119A0049; Team Leader (qty of 1), Advisor Member (qty of 4) and Cross Functional Member (qty of 4). After award and use of these licenses for multiple months, the requiring activity made a determination that the government would be better served by upgrading one of the Advisor Member licenses to a Leadership Team Plus license, for the remainder of the period of performance. This change would be effective 1 March 2022 for a period through 31 August 2002; a total of six (6) months. Gartner, Inc. has agreed to prorate the cost of this upgrade for the six (6) months, as well as provide a credit for the unused portion of the original Advisor Member license. The requested change will increase the total value of the contract by $20,700.00, and will be paid using fiscal year 2022 operations and maintenance (O&M) funds. The upgraded license shall provide a Cybersecurity subject matter expert, which is needed and not available under the originally contracted Advisor Member license. In addition, the upgrade shall provide deliverables for annual virtual strategy meeting, special interest groups, and strategic business content for IT executives. These additional benefits will better align CIO’s need to meet the ever changing cybersecurity threats that proliferate and expose the government to risks, on a regular basis.
