This notice is not a solicitation for proposals. Through this Sources Sought Notice, Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) seeks capability statements from interested qualified sources for an anticipated Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type action under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 336611, Ship Building and Repairing. This Sources Sought Notice is a means of conducting market research to identify interested parties with the resources to support a requirement for providing management, material support services, labor, supplies, and equipment deemed necessary to perform the requirements outlined in the draft Statement of Work (Attachment II). The anticipated Period of Performance (POP) for this requirement is for a twelve (12) month base period and four (4) discrete twelve (12) month option periods (with the potential for an additional six (6) months period under FAR Clause 52.217-8).
