The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Norfolk Naval Shipyard Contracting Department, Portsmouth, VA 23709, intends to award a firm fixed price contract to procure services to troubleshoot and repair the INTEGRATED COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (ICS) on a 688 class moored training ship (MTS) utilizing the policies and procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 336611, Ship Building and Repairing, with a size standard of 1300 employees. The PSC code is J059. The proposed contract action is for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit as sole source to L3 Technologies, Inc..
