Contractor shall provide seven (7) HAZMAT containers with minimum dimensions of 8’ width x 9’ height x 20’ length. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and supervision necessary to provide, install, and remove the HAZMAT container in support of the Eisenhower (IKE) project at Pier 5A. This specification covers the design, fabrication, quality assurance, delivery, removal, and onsite assistance of HAZMAT container for use in Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA. The HAZMAT Container shall be leased for one base-year (12-months) and includes the option to extend the period of performance for one six-month option period. The period of performance for the base year shall be April 15, 2025, through April 14 2026. The HAZMAT container shall provide a space that is suitable for the storage of hazardous material. It shall contain a sump to collect leakage and a dry chemical fire suppression system as described in the following sections.
