SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Sources Sought Number: Notice Type: N42158-24-GASFREECHEM Sources Sought Synopsis: 1. NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information purposes only. 1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive, and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 541380 Testing Laboratories and Services, which has a corresponding Size Standard of $10.0M, and Product or Service Code, (PSC) of J020 - MAINT/REPAIR/REBUILD OF EQUIPMENT- SHIP AND MARINE EQUIPMENT. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide a capabilities statement, confirming your availability to provide the described service/supplies. 2. Program Details: NNSY seeks services from a Contractor to provide Marine Chemist services for EDO piping maintenance for a Moored Training Ships (MTS) undergoing maintenance work. The services shall include performing an inspection of tanks or piping for the purpose of certifying the area is safe to perform subsequent work operations in accordance with the DRAFT Statement of Work attached to this posting.
