SOLICITATION (RFQ) IS NOW AVAILABLE AS WELL AS THE TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES DOCUMENT SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Sources Sought Number: Notice Type: N42158-23-RC-30444 Sources Sought Synopsis: 1. NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information purposes only. 1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive, and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment and Maintenance, which has a corresponding Size Standard of $34.0M, and Product or Service Code, (PSC) of J066 - MAINT/REPAIR/REBUILD OF EQUIPMENT- INSTRUMENTS AND LABORATORY EQUIPMENT. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide a capabilities statement, confirming your availability to provide the described service/supplies. 2. Program Details: The objective of this request is to purchase of a service contract for the cleaning, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory owned balances at Norfolk Naval Shipyard Building 184 and Naval Station Norfolk Building W388. All cleaning and maintenance will be done according to OEM specifications. Calibration will be done in ranges specified by OEM or as requested by the laboratory and to the standard of ISO 17025. Vendor performing services must hold valid ISO 17025 accreditation for applicable services. Upon completion of calibration, an accuracy calibration certificate will be presented for each balance to the laboratory. All travel, parts, and labor required to perform these services will be included under this contract.
