NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine the capability for sources to perform the below work at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Responses will be recorded for information purposes only and a quote is not being requested at this time. 1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine the availability of responsible sources. The Government is interested in large and small businesses concerns. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 532490 - Scaffolding rental or leasing, which has a corresponding Size Standard of $40M, and the Taxonomy of Services & Equipment Portfolio Group: Equipment Related Services – Structures & Facilities. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if they are capable of performing and identify their small business status under the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide a capabilities statement, confirming your availability to provide the described service/supplies and any relevant past performance. 2. Program Details: See Attachment: 991-01-001 Market Survey: Please describe your company’s ability to provide preventative maintenance on the above items. If possible, provide a capability statement and/or evidence of similar past performance within the last 5 years. Please state your business size (small or large) based upon the size standard above. Vendors may suggest a different NAICS or PSC if they believe a more applicable selection describes the above requirement. Please substantiate why any suggested NAICS/PSC would better fig the Government’s requirement.
