This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with Part 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. The RFQ number is N42158-23-Q-S029. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2023-02 Effective March 16, 2023 and DFARS Change Notice 20230322. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing two (2) Chill Water Systems that are identified in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The proposed contract action is for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit as Full and Open Competition. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This posting is a request for competitive quotes. All quotations received by the closing response date may be considered by the Government. SYSTEMS SHALL CONSIST OF TWO (2) SEPARATE 60 TON (MINIMUM) CHILLERS. DELIVERY AND PICKUP COSTS ARE INCLUDED. Period of Performance (POP): Base Period: CLIN 0001: April 25, 2023 - April 24, 2024 (12 months) 6 Month Option: CLIN 0002: April 25, 2024 – October 24, 2024 (6 months) This announcement will close on 30 March 2023 at 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. Shipping term shall be FOB Destination; therefore, quote SHALL include shipping cost. System for Award Management (SAM).
