Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Single Award Contract, to accomplish shot peening of (1) each fillet area distributed on (4) each CVN propeller shaft coupling flange (SNs 2183, 2287, 2288, 2289) and (2) each fillet area distributed on (1) each CVN intermediate shaft coupling flanges (SN 2285), in accordance with MIL-S-13165C, Memo Ser. 05P/386, and their associated references, as required. The requirement is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, FAR Part 13, and supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This requirement will be solicited as a 100% set-aside for Small Business.
