This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.201 requiring the dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is not a solicitation or request for quotes or proposals. Therefore, no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY), Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) to accomplish the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of the No. 1 and No. 2 ship’s service turbine generators (SSTG) aboard a VIRGINIA class submarine. The intended contract will be awarded using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 15. The period of performance will begin immediately after contract award. Three subsequent services portion performance periods are anticipated to follow the material Requires Delivery Date (RDD). NNSY intends to award a contract to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation on a sole source basis. Notice of this justification will be provided on SAM.gov in accordance with FAR 6.305. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611, Shipbuilding and Repair, with a size standard of 1250 employees. The Product Service Code is J998.
