REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAINING. The Government will receive two (2) individual sessions with no more than sixteen (16) students per session, of classroom training with no more than thirty two (32) students. The class room training portion will be know from this point forward as session one. The Government shall subsequently receive (4) individual sessions of on the crane training with no more than eight (8) students on the crane at a time, the training located on the crane will be known from this point forward as session two. Total number of students trained on crane shall be (32) thirty two. Total number of days of training shall be six (6) days. The contractor will be responsible for providing two hard copy’s, and one compact disc (CD) copy for all publication old and new specified in section (3.). The Contractor shall be responsible for providing two hard copy’s, and one compact disc (CD) copy for all manual specified in section (3.). Once training is complete the hard copy’s and (CD’s) of both the publication and manuals listed in section (3.) shall be turn over to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). TRAINING CONTENT Basic Mechanical – Such as but not limited to vibration characteristics, common areas of wear over time, power loss, engine lubrication issues, and fuel system issues. Basic Electrical - Such as but not limited to wire harness routing, engine safety locations, interpretation of faults codes on engine controller, common electrical issues that result in power loss. Maintenance – Such as but not limited to valve adjustment procedures, periodicity of overhauls, Top end overhaul procedures, crankcase pressures, ventilation needs / area of fresh air intake demands, and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) functions / consumption rates. Basic system operations and how they operate in their respective systems – Such as but not limited to coolant systems - (Dual core Radiators), turbo, diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), drive belts pulleys, fuel delivery systems and valve train.
