Update the Statement of Work (SOW) 2. Inform vendors that they must completely fill out Tables (A, B and C) and Technical Capability/Contractor Responsibility Certification portion appropriately 3. Update the Period of Performance (POP) start date to 9 May 2022 from 4 May 2022 4. Extend the solicitation closing time and date to 5:30 pm EST on 5 May 2022 5. Correct the Government’s email addresses that quotes and their supporting documents will be submitted to. All other information remain unchanged. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation WILL be posted to SAM.gov at https:// sam.gov. THE RFQ number is N4215822QS040. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect though FAC 2022-04 and the DFARS Change notice 20220128. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at this address: https://www.acquisition.gov/. The NAICS CODE is 532490 and the size standard is $35M. The Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) requests responses from small business sources capable of providing rental of a diesel generator that are identified in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The Government intends to procure this requirement on a total small business set-aside basis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotes. Determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Period of Performance (POP): 9 May 2022 to 31 January 2023 Shipping term shall be FOB Destination; therefore, quote SHALL include shipping cost. Contractor to provide the option of contract extension past 31 January 2023 with three 1-month duration option to extend if needed up to 3 months. Therefore, provide daily, weekly, monthly pricing for the required rental service to cover optional periods. System for Award Management (SAM). Quoting vendors must be registered in the SAM database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://sam.gov/. To be considered for this opportunity, all quotes shall be submitted in either Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheet or Adobe PDF. Quote must include price(s), FOB Destination, a point of contact, name and phone number, business size, and payment terms. An award will be made based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Each quote must clearly indicate the capability of the vendor to meet all specifications and requirements in the PWS/SOW. Vendors shall provide a detailed (unpriced) capabilities statement for review and acceptance by the technical team. Responses to this solicitation are due by 5:30pm EST on 5 May 2022.
