Please see the attached question and answer document. II. This solicitiation is hereby extended to 14 September 2022 at 2pm, EST. Solicitation Notice N42158-22-Q-E088 Audiovisual Equipment and Installation for Command Briefing Room Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Single Award Contract as necessary to provide Norfolk Naval Shipyard Building 1500 Command Briefing Room with audio visual upgrades. The contractor shall provide the needed equipment and installation as required by the specifications. The services will be acquired on a full and open, competitive basis in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 – Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items and FAR 19.502-2. The required period of performance for this requirement is on/around September 30, 2022 through September 29, 2023. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334310 with a small business standard of 750 employees. Responses to the Requests for Quote (RFQ) have a closing date of 13th September 2022 at 3:00 PM. Questions will be in writing and due on 8 September 2022 at 1PM. By submitting a Quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award.
