Amendment 0001 - Correction of closing date for solicitation and industry question due by date. Synopsis: Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), to provide assessment and condition found report to possible repairs to CVN High Pressure Air Compressors No. 1 and No3. The required items are for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. Prospective bidders are required to be authorized Technician by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The personnel provided for this contract shall possess qualifications that satisfy the minimum guidelines for OEM. The requirement will be solicited using other than full and open competition. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 336611. The Product Service Code is J019. The subject requirement is in support of the Norfolk Naval Shipyard's (NNSY) Propulsion Engineering, Code C267. The period of performance for this acquisition is anticipated to begin on 30 September 2022 to May 11, 2023. The contract will include the option to extend services up to an additional six months in accordance with FAR clause 52.217-8, Option for Additional Services.
