This notice is not a solicitation for proposals. Through this Sources Sought Notice, Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) seeks capability statements from interested qualified sources for an anticipated Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type action under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 336611, Ship Building and Repairing. This Sources Sought Notice is a means of conducting market research to identify interested parties with the resources to support a requirement for providing management, material support services, labor, supplies, and equipment deemed necessary to perform Overhaul of VLS Hardware and Mechanical Systems onboard the USS Toledo SSN-769 Los Angeles Class submarine at Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) or Naval Station Norfolk as described in Attachment II-VLS ESPEC USS TOLEDO SSN-769 NNSY N-504-21. The anticipated Period of Performance (POP) for this requirement is for a 1 (one) base year with two (2) one year options (with the potential for an additional six (6) months period under FAR Clause 52.217-8). Period of Performance is February 24, 2021 to March 31, 2023 Please review the attached documentation for additional information.
