This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation will be posted to SAM at https:// sam.gov/. The government requires contractor support. This specification describes the requirements for three (3 qty.) industrial ceiling fans, one (1 qty.) fan motor, and accompanying installation services. All work shall be accomplished using the commercial practices and current acceptable industry standards. Required Delivery Date (including installation) – October 31, 2021 The RFQ number is N4215821QS046. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect though FAC 2021-06 Effective July 12, 2021 and the DFARS Change notice July 9, 2021. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at this address: https://www.acquisition.gov/. The NAICS CODE is 333413 and the small business standard is 500 (# of employees). Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. By submitting a quotation, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the quotation. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the vendors at any time prior to award. By submission of a quotation, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award. Quote must include price(s), FOB Destination, a point of contact, name and phone number, business size, and payment terms. An award will be made based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Each quote must clearly indicate the capability of the vendor to meet all specifications and requirements in the SOW. Vendors shall provide a detailed (unpriced) capabilities statement for review and acceptance by the Technical POC. Responses to this solicitation are due by 4:30 PM, August 31, 2021. Sources Sought Notice #N42158-210-Q-S046 Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice (“Notice”) for the sole purpose of conducting Market Research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 to provide industrial ceiling fans and provide the installation for fans and one fan motor. Another purpose of this Notice is to determine the availability and capability of qualified small businesses to perform these services on the associated vessels. All interested parties are welcome to provide a response. The anticipated services include all personnel, labor, material, supplies, and equipment. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned is 238210. The Government anticipates issuing a solicitation for a Single Purchase Order contract with Firm-Fixed Price provisions and a period of performance of August 10, 2021 – October 31, 2021 for the services outlined in Attachment 1. The Government is interested in responses from all qualified and experiences sources capable of providing the services. Large and small companies that have experience with these services are encouraged to respond to this Notice by 23 July 2021 at 5:00 PM EST.
